The 1st Wheathampstead Brownies visited Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary for an educational and awareness visit on hedgehogs yesterday. They had so many questions about hedgehogs :D It was a lovely sunny day and they got to meet one of the hedgehogs we are rehabilitating along with helping out with some practical tasks revolving around hedgehog and wildlife conservation.
The group was very well behaved and had a lovely time.
Thank you to all the parents for giving the children lots of jelly based dog and cat food to the hedgehogs, they really appreciated it! Thank you also to the leaders and helpers who also attended.
