A huge thank you to St Albans High School for Girls Prep for raising a whopping £230 from their summer fundraising challenge! This is a massive amount of money to raise for the hedgehogs!
A special thanks to Lucy for presenting Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary at the schools charity presentation submissions day. Lucy put together a presentation about Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary and thanks to her we were selected as one of the charities the school fund raised for. Thank you so much Lucy, this was a beautiful thing to do for the hedgehogs :D
Lucy is also an ongoing supporter of the hedgehogs and has previously visited the sanctuary though one of our group educational and awareness visits.
The money raised will go towards the purchase of a new incubator which hugely increases the success of hedgehogs in rehabilitation. These are very expensive items but much needed for the hedgehogs we rehabilitate.
