We have a huge amount of projects going on at the sanctuary, at the moment. This project has been on the back burner for some time now. But, we are finally able to progress things.
A big thank you for all your support. We've had lots of volunteers help us recently with a host of new projects for 2023 and this is one that will be of huge benefit to us and the hedgehogs in rehabilitation. This will be our new overwintering shed for hedgehogs that are underweight during the cold months of the year. There will be 40 brand new hutches inside this shed, very soon, expanding our intake number significantly for those times of the year.
We still need to insulate it and put the double glazed windows in along with the roof, but it's progressing at a fast rate :) If you know of anyone that has spare or unwanted insulation board we'd love to hear from you!
