Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust and Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary have teamed up again this year and are working in partnership offering "Discover Hedgehogs" events for 2023!

Please note there are very limited spaces for these visits, and it is highly advisable you book as early as you can.

About the event:


Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary are delighted to be working in partnership with Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust to offer this introduction to hedgehogs event.


Learn basic hedgehog facts – where they live, what they eat, the problems facing hedgehogs and why they’re in decline. Receive practical advice about how to help hedgehogs in your garden. Find out about basic hedgehog care and handling.


This workshop is aimed at families, with the suggested age of children between 6-16. We are also offering adult-only workshops. Please note these are special organised events/visits and Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary is not open to the general public.


Proceeds from this event will be split between the Trust and Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary. These events generated £233.00 to help support us in 2022!
