Some of the simplest ways are to let nature take over parts of your garden. By letting the wild flowers grow and grass turn to hay you can make a huge difference for all types of wildlife and insects but also hedgehogs!
You can go one step further and start to create habitats for insects to thrive in which in turn helps wildlife with natural food sources. Bug hotels are really good for this and can be as simple as a log or two left lying on the ground to a fully blow luxury bug hotel with all kinds of neat little habitats for the insects to live.
You will attract lots of living creatures to your garden and help many wild animals in the process. It's also fun to make and watch as new inhabitants arrive :)
