Best Places for Hedgehog Houses in Gardens and Woods - Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary

Today we are placing home made hedgehog houses in to woods at Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary. These hedgehog houses are made from recycled wood decking by the Young Farmers Group in St Albans.

There are also a few tips on where to place hedgehog houses in your garden or in woods! Ideally you'll need additional nesting material such as dried leaves, hay, or straw to help them make their nest. You can place the hedgehog house anywhere really but ideally under a bush out of the way somewhere to one side of your garden.
