A Huge thank you to the 5th Harpenden Scouts for helping out at the sanctuary recently! They did an amazing job of helping us with some tasks that had been put off due to time constraints.
The group split off in to smaller teams to help move two piles of wood chippings and make two different paths that are walked on every day. This is especially useful during the wet and muddy times :)
They also moved a large pile of reclaimed wood which will be used to make hedgehog hutches and repair buildings at the sanctuary.
They also painted all the rehabilitation hutches ready for the winter, and moved a pile of shingle to the entrance of the Hogs Science Lab :D
Amazing stuff and greatly appreciated! Thank you also to the leaders for their expert organisation of the tasks.
