These 3 Juvenile Hedgehogs came from a garden in Baldock last night. They were found wondering about during the day. They had just recently left the mother and were underweight for the time of year mid/late Autumn. At under 300g they would be very unlikely to reach the 600g+ weight to safely hibernate during the cold winter months.
We will monitor them for a week or so and if all is well they will be cared for by local hedgehog fosterers. Only one of them had a few ticks on them which have since been removed.
